2942 UNITED STATES (Alaska) - "Try Again" wreck boat in Homer


Located on the shore of Kachemak Bay on the southwest side of the Kenai Peninsula, and long known as The "Halibut Fishing Capital of the World", Homer is a little city with 2,235 households, where live 1,296 families (2010). In the picture is the wreck of the boat "Try Again", surprised in 1980's.

About the stamps


The first stamp was issued by Finland on January 20, 2017 for Europa Stamps 2017, which has as theme the Castles.


A series of definitive stamps in the uniform Post Horn design began on January 10, 2008. This stamp, depicting the Finnish flag and designed by Ossi Hiekkala, is a reprint of the 2016 Post Horn series, and was issued on January 20, 2017, for celebrate the Finland's centenary.
